West Coast Swing
in Rhode Island
Lessons, social dancing, and a welcoming community.
No partner or experience needed.
Welcome! I'm so glad you're here!
What started as a simple meet-up and way for myself to connect with others during a big life transition has grown into something bigger than I ever imagined! First on the Floor began as a space for shy-but-friendly dance lovers to meet up and be brave enough to get any dance floor started together.
Since then, it's blossomed into one of Rhode Island's most welcoming communities for inclusive partner dancing — especially West Coast Swing. What once lived in a humble group chat now thrives with over 500 amazing members who show up with heart, rhythm, and the courage to be the First on the Floor.
Whether you're brand new or have been dancing for years, there's a place for you here. I can't wait to meet you.
— Amanda
